WoW ! Amanda Bynes arrested on DUI charge

It seems Amanda Bynes may be struggling once again. The actress, who had a very public breakdown and has since been doing better with the help of her parents, was arrested on Sunday after police determined she was driving under the influence, authorities said.

Bynes, 28, was stopped by a California Highway Patrol officer after she stopped in the middle of an intersection in the Van Nuys neighborhood of Los Angeles around 4 a.m. on Sunday. The former
child star was determined to be under the influence of an unidentified drug after being evaluated at a nearby police station, the CHP said in a statement.

The release states that Bynes, who has had a series of driving-related arrests, was cooperative but appeared disheveled when she was taken into
custody. Bynes was released hours later after posting $15,000 bail. A phone message left by The Associated Press for her criminal defense attorney, Richard Hutton, was not immediately returned.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately return FOX411’s request for comment. Bynes publicly struggled with health issues in 2013, and she was hospitalized for a mental evaluation last spring. She later entered a rehab facility and was released after a lengthy stay. Her parents have since been caring for her and she has been spotted taking fashion design courses at the Fashion
Institute of Design & Merchandising.

Once out of rehab, Bynes deleted her controversial tweets from last year, which included some vulgar messages she wrote about rapper Drake and nearly nude pictures. Bynes remains on probation for a 2012 case filed after she clipped a Los Angeles County sheriff’s
patrol car and was arrested for driving under the influence.

Bynes pleaded no contest to alcohol-
related reckless driving in February.
She received psychiatric treatment last year after authorities said she set a small fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, California. In April 2013, the former actress revealed she had
shaved her head, but her recent photos show her blonde locks looking long once again.

Bynes first began acting in commercials at the age of 7 and was thrust into the limelight when she later became one of the stars of Nickelodeon’s comedy show “All That.” She then starred in Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show” from
1999-2002. Since then, her acting career has waned, and her last major role was in 2010’s “Easy A.”

Before that she appeared in films like “What a Girl Wants” and “Hairspray.”
She has publicly stated that she has retired from acting. Her last film credit was 2010’s “Easy A,” which starred Emma Stone.

WoW ! ‘Family Guy’ and ‘The Simpsons’ crossover and a character dies

How do you keep things fresh in your
26th season? If you’re “The Simpsons,” you roll out a jaw-dropping couch gag AND kill off a Springfield resident while you’re at it. Simpsons fans were warned of a character’s impending demise and online speculation had focused on Krusty the Clown. That turned out to be a bit of misdirection, however, as the doomed
Springfielder in question was none other than Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky, man of God, and father to Krusty, Bart’s favorite entertainer.

There is significant comedic upside to saying a sad shalom to Rabbi Krustofsky including a Jewish funeral, complete with a choral reinterpretation of the “Itchy & Scratchy” theme. With a boatload of Emmys and a Peabody on their very large and very proverbial mantle — “The
Simpsons” is an institution with nothing left to prove. And for TV’s longest-running animated sitcom, this summer has been a something of a victory lap complete with FXX’s August “Every
Simpsons Ever” marathon, a mural unveiled (also in August) in the namesake hometown of Springfield, Oregon, and September’s star- studded celebration of “The Simpsons” at The
Hollywood Bowl.

Instead of dropping the mic and resting on its collective laurels, they kicked off season 26 with a staggering, Don Hertzfeldt directed intro sequence
and then went on to prove that, in a world where shows can flame out after just a few episodes, “The Simpsons,” which premiered in 1989 still has plenty of jokes left in their comedic arsenal.

Back to Krusty — the title of this episode is, after all, “Clown In The Dumps.” Krusty takes umbrage after the insult humor in his “Comedy Cable Channel” Roast, featuring Jeff Ross and Sarah
Silverman, cuts a little too close to the bone. Dispirited, our clown protagonist throws in the towel, apologizes to the comedic troupe in his trousers and abruptly retires.

Krusty, nee Herschel Shmoikel Pinchas Yerucham Krustofsky, does some soul searching and decides to seek solace at Temple Beth Springfield where his father presides as rabbi. However, before Krusty can get the fatherly advice he needs — Rabbi K kicks the bucket.
With his attempt to reconcile with his perpetually disapproving father foiled in the here and now, Krusty has a near death experience (Krusty, much like Homer Simpson, has a history of cardiac
events).

This affords him and the audience a visit
to “Jewish Heaven” (“where even Portnoy has no complaints”). His Father tells him to go back and help people. Back from the beyond, Krusty becomes an animal advocate, a nod to Simpsons
co-creator and producer, Sam Simon.

In the episode’s B storyline, a concerned Lisa futilely attempts to get Homer (he of the aforementioned cardiac problems) to live a healthier lifestyle. She even monitors his raging case of sleep apnea via a “Daddycam” and insulates him from danger by encasing him in bubble wrap. Many of our favorites make an appearance, Sideshow Mel and Sideshow Bob visit Krusty’s to show their respects and maybe even sit shiva. Otto the bus driver, a perpetual menace to Springfield’s roads, makes his cameo when his school bus hits bubble-wrapped Homer.

Speaking of Springfield, Fox’s other animated stalwart family, The Griffins find themselves there in “Family Guy’s” season 13 premiere. After a few jokes about the families respective cartoon hues, TV’s densest Dads meet and begin an argument over the provenance of Duff and Pawtucket Patriot Ale.
What ensues is a mega-meta riff on rip-offs and inspiration (acknowledging “Family Guy’s” debt to their cartoon forefathers) and culminating in an epic showdown at the Nuclear Plant. We also get a joke at the expense of their Fox animated brethren — “Bob’s Burgers.”
And Bart and Stewie collaborate on a prank call gone very wrong (thanks to Stewie) to Moe’s Tavern.

WoW ! Jason Derulo denies cheating on Jording Sparks

Last week, Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks ended their engagement after three years together and there were rumours that it was because he cheated.
Well, Jason denies they split over cheating. Read the statement bellow where here clearly stated it

“Though I think it is a private matter and intended to keep my break-up with Jordin personal, due to bogus and irresponsible lies being reported by insensitive media outlets it became necessary for me to comment. I spent three great years with Jordin and she is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met.

But as in all relationships there are ups and downs and at this time we have
decided to amicably part. Infidelity, cheating or deceit played no part in our relationship or our break-up, and I hope that people respect our privacy as we move forward with our lives.”

WoW ! Hong Kong’s daisy chain protesters

“Over 100,000 people in Hong Kong have flocked to a social network that doesn’t need the internet, or a cellular network, to function.”

In Hong Kong, pro-democracy demonstrators are looking for new ways to communicate. News about the thousands of people demonstrating
in Hong Kong has been suppressed on the internet across the border in mainland China. The picture sharing site Instagram has been blocked there.

Messages posted to Sina Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site similar to Twitter, are being suppressed in far greater numbers than normal. So
far these blocks do not seem to have extended to Hong Kong, but on Sunday, rumours reportedly circulated that the authorities in Hong Kong might shut down the city’s cellular networks.

In response, a different type of social network has come to the fore. The Firechat app allows smartphone users to talk to one another “off-the- grid”, in the absence of a mobile signal or access to
the internet. By making use of the Bluetooth and Wi- Fi transmitters inside each individual phone, messages are spread in a daisy chain fashion, jumping from one user to the next.

The system is particularly effective when large numbers of people are congregated together – like at a music festival, or a political protest. Micha Benoliel, CEO of Open Garden, the firm that makes the app, tells BBC Trending there has been a huge surge in downloads from Hong Kong, as more
than 100,000 new accounts have been created in less than 24 hours. Usage spiked during protests in Taiwan and Iran earlier this year, but never before on
this scale, says Benoliel.

Inside the app you can post anonymously to discussions which are arranged according to theme, or how close you are to other users. At one point on Sunday 33,000 people in Hong Kong were using the app at the same time.

WoW ! ‘My father died because of an extra-marital affair’ Fela Durotoye shares a touching story

Fela Durotoye a renowned motivational speaker, a mentorship coach opens up for the first time about how his professor father left his mum for a nursing student and died just as he was about to leave his mistress and reconcile with his wife.
The woman shockingly confessed later (after running mad) that she killed his father. Read what Fela said below…

My father died because of an extra-marital affair. He had a great marriage but at one point in time he cut it off and left his home, few years later he died. He even died some days to when he was
supposed to return home to my mother. He died a mysterious death because the lady said, if I will not have you, nobody will. Few years later, the woman ran insane and was saying all over that she killed my father. So now that I’ve seen what a strange woman can do to a man, it makes sense to stay in one place so I don’t put so many life at stake.

He died in 1982, I was 11 years old. It was so devastating because he went beyond just being my father, he was my best friend. He left home in 1977. I must have been six years old. He was gone
for five years. It was at the point where he was trying to get back to his wife that he died in 1982. I never knew what it was like to be a child because my father never treated me like one. I was also his
best friend, he used to relate with me like an adult . Even when he left my mum at Ife and was at Ibadan, I used to go to Ibadan every weekend.

My relationship with him blossomed till he died. He would send his driver to come and pick me up every weekend. I had to learn how to deal with seeing him and the other woman if I wanted to enjoy my dad. But I was always the centre of
attraction every weekend I was with him. The woman was not a major thing I will deal with because my father would give us total attention. Before the separation, my father was a professor in physiology while my mother was a lecturer in
Geology.

After he left the University of Ife, he went to set up consultancy firm in medical equipment and so on. My mum remained a professor at Ife. My mum
was one of those amazing human beings that you can ever imagine. I cannot tell you how she did it but you can be such that it was God that helped her. And the most difficult part was that watching a man you of loved die in your hands. By the time my father was dying, my mum was right there. He died with his heads in her hands. I do not know how anybody would have done that. Many times my mum said maybe she should not have let him go.

She always says that if she knew that the end of the matter would have been that way, she would have followed him with the other woman, she would never let him go. I do not think that my father followed the other woman willingly, it was programmed. It wasn’t natural. I don’t think that he was in his total senses. His siblings were so upset with him, they had to leave him. We should
not have allowed him to go into the hands of the devourer.

He used to tell me, don’t worry it is all going to be alright. Meaning that we are all coming back as family. I could see that he always wanted to go back home. His death was one of the most difficult
things I had to overcome. My mum had traveled on sabbatical to Belgium and at one point my father was passing through
Belgium. And they had a very short meeting and who knew maybe the signal of the remote control did not get to Belgium. I think somehow the love
was rekindled and there was a gentleman, Rev. Faniku who was also in Belgium at that time.

He took it upon himself and work on it for almost a year and my dad was almost back to his senses. My mum is incredible brilliant and beautiful. There was no basis for comparison with the other woman who was a nursing student.
Then he fell ill with diabetes but there was no record of diabetes in our linage. He feels sick on Wednesday and died on Sunday morning. He just finished a meeting with my mother and he told the
other lady that my mum was coming back home that she has to leave. She told him if she will not have him than nobody will (kaka kekumajesese, afisawadanu).

By evening he had come down with
a flu. By Monday he was already really sick, by Tuesday he was in the hospital and my Wednesday he was dead.
I have never talked about my dad like this before, I don’t know why I am doing it with you. You must be very special. I learnt that no matter how gifted you are, your destiny can be truncated by a woman. I saw the joy of a successful marriage and I saw the pain of an unsuccessful one. I choose I will go for the joy of a successful marriage. Before
my wife and i got married we went to pray and tell God that none of the things that happened in our parent’s marriage would happen in ours. We have
tried so far.

Before the separation, they won the couple of the year award twice on campus. My father was an incredible brilliant man. He was the youngest
professor in Nigeria as at when he became a professor in 1976. He was 35 or 36. My mum was beauty and brain. They were the happiest couple you can never imagine together. A mistake of falling for a nursing student who was not even in his department caused all sort of troubles

WoW ! ISIS Publicly Crushing Babies of Christians to Death who fail to convert

They claim to be the religion of peace. They are called the “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria”. Barack Obama claims they aren’t Islamic. They are Islamic. They are barbarians. They do want to take over the world.

In a three photo slide show, an ISIS cleric kills a baby belonging to a Christian family who refused to convert to Islam. ISIS thugs are spreading across the
Middle East and are calling on their affiliates in the United States to begin doing the same. After Friday’s beheading in Oklahoma, Americans need to both be
on guard and be angry.

The “religion of peace” has started another Crusade, and most Americans are blissfully unaware. If there’s ever a time to realize that the enemy is here and they must be defeated, it is now.

WoW ! Hong Kong democracy protesters defy tear gas, baton charge in historic tandoff

Riot police advanced on Hong Kong democracy protesters in the early hours of Monday, firing volleys of tear gas after launching a baton-charge in the worst unrest there since China took back control of the former British colony two
decades ago.

Some protesters erected barricades to block security forces amid chaotic scenes still unfolding just hours before one of the world’s major financial centers was due to open for business. Many roads leading to the Central business district remained sealed off as thousands defied police calls to retreat.

Earlier, police baton-charged a crowd blocking a key road in the government district in defiance of official warnings that the demonstrations were illegal.
Several scuffles broke out between police in helmets, gas masks and riot gear, with demonstrators angered by the firing of tear gas, last used in Hong Kong in 2005.

“If today I don’t stand up, I will hate myself in future,” said taxi driver Edward Yeung, 55, as he swore at police on the frontline. “Even if I get a criminal record
it will be a glorious one.”

White clouds of gas wafting between some of the world’s most valuable office towers and shopping malls underscored the struggle that China’s Communist Party faces in stamping its will on Hong
Kong’s more than 7 million people.
China took back control of Hong Kong from Britain in 1997.

Eight years earlier, Beijing’s bloody crackdown on pro- democracy students in Tiananmen Square in 1989 had sent shockwaves through Hong Kong as people saw how far China’s rulers would go to maintain their grip on power.

Thousands of protesters were still milling around the main Hong Kong government building, ignoring messages from student and pro-democracy leaders to
retreat for fear that the police might fire rubber bullets. Australia and Italy issued travel warnings for Hong Kong, urging their citizens to avoid protest sites.

Some financial firms in the business district advised staff to work from home or from another location. The U.S. State Department said in a statement on Sunday that Washington supported Hong Kong’s well- established traditions and fundamental freedoms, such as peaceful assembly and expression.

PEPPER SPRAY, TEAR GAS
The protests fanned out to the busy shopping district of Causeway Bay and across the harbor to Mong Kok, posing a greater challenge for authorities to contain, local media reported. The protesters brought traffic to a halt and called on Hong Kong leader Leung Chun-
ying to step down.

Police, in lines five deep in places, earlier used pepper spray against activists and shot tear gas into the air. The crowds fled several hundred yards (meters), scattering their umbrellas and hurling abuse at police they called “cowards”.

Britain returned Hong Kong to Chinese rule under a formula known as “one country, two systems” that guaranteed a high degree of autonomy and freedoms
not enjoyed in mainland China. Universal suffrage was set as an eventual goal.

But Beijing last month rejected demands for people to freely choose the city’s next leader, prompting threats from activists to shut down the Central business district. China wants to limit elections to a handful of candidates loyal to Beijing.

Communist Party leaders in Beijing are concerned that calls for democracy could spread to cities on the mainland. In a move certain to unnerve authorities in Beijing, media in Taiwan reported that student leaders there had occupied the lobby of Hong Kong’s representative
office on the island in a show of support for the democracy protesters.

Hong Kong leader Leung had earlier pledged “resolute” action against the protest movement, known as Occupy Central with Love and Peace.

“The police are determined to handle the situation appropriately in accordance with the law,” Leung said, less than two hours before the police charge began.
“NEVER GIVE UP”

Police had not used tear gas in Hong Kong since breaking up protests by South Korean farmers against the World Trade Organisation in 2005.

“We will fight until the end … we will never give up,”

said Peter Poon, a protester in his 20s, adding that he may have to retreat temporarily during the night.
Police denied rumors that they had used rubber bullets. A spokesperson for China’s Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office said the central government fully
supported Hong Kong’s handling of the situation “in accordance with the law”.

Such dissent would never be tolerated on the mainland, where the phrase “Occupy Central” was blocked on Sunday on Weibo, China’s version of Twitter. It had been allowed earlier in the day.
A tearful Occupy organizer, Benny Tai, said he was proud of people’s determination to fight for “genuine”
universal suffrage, but that the situation was getting out of control, local broadcaster RTHK reported.

He said he believed he would face heavy punishment for initiating the movement.
Protesters huddled in plastic capes, masks and goggles as they braced for a fresh police attempt to clear them from the financial district before Hong Kong re-opens for business. The city’s financial
markets are expected to open as usual on Monday.

“WE WILL WIN WITH LOVE AND PEACE”

Publishing tycoon Jimmy Lai, a key backer of the democracy movement, joined the protesters.

“The more Hong Kong citizens come, the more unlikely the police can clear up the place,” said Lai,

also wearing a plastic cape and protective glasses.

“Even if we get beaten up, we cannot fight back. We will win this war with love and peace.”

Pro-democracy Hong Kong lawmaker Lee Cheuk-yan said three fellow legislators were among a small group of activists detained by police, including democratic leaders Albert Ho and Emily Lau.
Organizers said as many as 80,000 people thronged the streets in Admiralty district, galvanized by the arrests of student activists on Friday. No independent estimate of the crowd numbers was available.

A week of protests escalated into violence when student-led demonstrators broke through a cordon
late on Friday and scaled a fence to invade the city’s main government compound. Police used pepper spray to disperse the crowd. The Hong Kong Federation of Students has extended class boycotts indefinitely and called on the city’s leader to step down.

Police have so far arrested 78 people, including Joshua Wong, the 17-year-old leader of student group Scholarism, who was dragged away after calling on protesters to charge the government premises. Wong was released without charge on Sunday night.

He told reporters he planned to return to the protest site after resting. Student leaders Alex Chow and Lester Shum have also been released.

WoW ! Checkout the Monstrous Armored Tank Captured By Nigerian Troops From Boko Haram

Ngerian military intelligence officials say they were surprised at the sophisticated weapons being used by Boko Haram insurgents. The reaction came after Nigerian troops captured a T-55 armored
tank and a highly sophisticate Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) from the Islamist insurgents in a battle yesterday at Konduga, Borno State.

Our sources said Boko Haram fighters made another big and desperate push to take Konduga, a town that has been the scene of incessant battles and disastrous outings for Boko Haram fighters in recent weeks.

Boko Haram began their latest push on Thursday, attacking Konduga from several angles. But when they found out they were getting defeated, some
of the Islamist fighters arrived at the scene of battle from the Bama axis with a surprise weapon, a T-55 tank.

Our military sources disclosed that the
insurgents had never previously used such a mammoth weapon in battle.
The tank and APC were eventually seized from the insurgents after a fierce battle in which soldiers killed more than 100 Boko Haram terrorists. some
15 soldiers were also killed during the firefight that lasted several hours.

The Nigerian army said the seizure of the tank was a major blow to the insurgents. “The sheer power of the tank surprised us. And the tank has camouflage painting that made it blend with the area in a way that it could not have easily been detected by Nigerian jets flying over the area,” said a military officer.

SaharaReporters obtained an exclusive photo of the armored tank which was taken to the Maimalari Barracks after its capture. One of our military sources said that Boko Haram’s ownership of the tank shows the extent to which the sect is funded by powerful as well as wealthy supporters and an indication of the
strength of the Islamic group’s foreign links.
