Tense and Frightening moment Great White Shark trails surfer back to shore

Wow ! This is scary ! The moment when a Great White shark trailed surfer
Andy Johnston back to shore was captured on camera and only released yesterday, weeks after the incident happened.

According to reports, Andy and his friends were exploring the West Beach near Esperance, south-east of Perth Australia, on Sept. 21 when people ashore spotted the shark trailing the
surfer.

They immediately they all started shouting, some honking their car horns to warn Andy, who paddled immediately to escape the shark. The intense and dramatic moments was captured by Frits De Bruyn, who was on holiday in the city.

“We were at a lookout and we saw a shadow in the water. It became evident it was a shark and everyone started shouting. There was about a dozen surfers and paddle boarders in the water.
He followed him to shore for a bit… he was only a body-length behind him.The surfer went straight back out a few minutes after the shark swam away.’ Mr De Bruyn told Daily Mail Australia. Check more pics bellow….

Halloween is here again !

Halloween is increasingly popular, so you can expect to see countless articles, adverts, TV shows, product offers and more all themed around it, even if the association is extremely tenuous. Why does this happen? And isn’t this article just another blatant example of it? Yes, yes it is.

It’s Halloween again. It feels like it’s only been a year since this blog last clumsily tried to combine science and Halloween in a desperate bid to gain extra traffic from the fleeting society-wide interest in commercially-acceptable occult.

Fat chance of that, by the way; given the onslaught of all-things Halloween, you’re just adding to the noise. It’s like sneezing into a hurricane and hoping someone says bless you.

Where does all this come from though? Halloween is confusing enough as it is when you think about it logically. It’s nominally meant to be “scary”, but it’s also strongly emphasised as being child-friendly.

Thanks to Halloween it is now perfectly acceptable to dress small children as a vampire or a devil, a reanimated corpse that sustains itself by feasting on the blood of unwilling victims, and the biblical manifestation of all that is evil and responsible for the suffering of mankind (respectively).

You wouldn’t normally get away with that sort of thing. But on Halloween it’s fine. The rules change, and children are actually encouraged to approach alarming-looking strangers bearing sweets. But seemingly everyone likes Halloween, so it’s fine.

And even if you don’t like it, you’re probably best keeping this to yourself, lest you get labelled a killjoy, so happy Halloween to you all..

Captured: manhunt ends for trooper ambush suspect

They searched for him in impenetrable woods and forbidding caves, in schools and vacation homes and even in a roadside clothing donation bin, all the while hoping that ambush suspect Eric Frein wouldn’t take a potshot at them from some unseen, distant perch.

For 48 tense days, hundreds of law enforcement officials fanned out across the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania in a grueling manhunt for
the 31-year-old survivalist armed with high-powered weaponry and explosives.

In the end, Frein surrendered meekly around 6 p.m. Thursday to a team of U.S. marshals who stumbled across him near an abandoned airplane hangar some 30 miles from the rural barracks where he allegedly opened fire Sept. 12, killing a trooper and seriously injuring another.

Authorities placed him in the handcuffs of slain Cpl. Bryon Dickson and put him in Dickson’s squad car for the ride back to the Blooming Grove barracks.

“He has been stripped of his guns, his bombs, and now his freedom,” Sam Rabadi, chief of the Philadelphia office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said at a late-night news
conference.

The quiet takedown of Frein, who kneeled and put his hands up when marshals approached him, ended weeks of tension and turmoil in the area, as authorities at times closed schools, canceled outdoor events and blockaded roads to pursue him. Residents grew weary of hearing helicopters whirring overhead, while small businesses suffered mounting losses and town supervisors canceled a popular Halloween parade.

“It feels good to know there’s a guy like this off the streets,” said Gregory Kubasek, 19, of Marshalls Creek, who drove to the barracks Thursday night to
catch a glimpse of Frein. After being processed, Frein left the barracks in
handcuffs around 1:30 a.m. Friday and was taken to the Pike County Correctional Facility. His nose looked swollen and he appeared slightly bloodied above one eye.

State police Commissioner Frank Noonan said Frein was in good health, despite what he described as a “scratch” on his nose that he said was already there when marshals arrested him.

“He looked fairly healthy, healthier than I would’ve expected,” he said. Frein’s initial court appearance was scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at the Pike County Courthouse. Prosecutors will seek the death penalty.

State police said they didn’t know whether Frein, who was unarmed when captured, had been using the hangar as a shelter during his seven weeks on the run, and they wouldn’t say what they found there.

“He did not just give up because he was tired,” Noonan said. “He gave up because he was caught.”

Dickson’s family, as well as wounded Trooper Alex Douglass and his family, expressed “relief and gratitude” over Frein’s arrest, Noonan said. Police said they linked Frein to the ambush after a man walking his dog discovered his partly submerged SUV three days later in a swamp a few miles from the shooting scene.

Inside, investigators found shell casings matching those found at the barracks as well as Frein’s driver’s license, camouflage face paint, two empty rifle cases and military gear. Officials, saying Frein was armed and extremely dangerous, had urged residents to be alert and cautious. Using dogs, thermal imaging technology and other tools, law enforcement officials combed miles of
forest as they hunted for Frein, whom they called an experienced survivalist at home in the woods.

At times, police ordered nearby residents to stay inside or prevented them from returning home. Trackers found items they believe Frein hid or
abandoned in the woods — including soiled diapers, empty packs of Serbian cigarettes, an AK-47-style assault rifle and ammunition, and two pipe bombs that were functional and capable of causing significant damage.

They also discovered a journal, allegedly kept by Frein and found in a bag of trash at a hastily abandoned campsite that offered a chilling account of the ambush and his subsequent escape into the woods. The journal’s author described Dickson as falling “still and quiet” after being shot twice. Authorities said Frein had expressed anti-law enforcement views online and to people who knew him.

Police found a U.S. Army manual called “Sniper Training and Employment” in his bedroom at his parents’ house in Candensis, and his father, a retired Army major, called his son an excellent marksman who “doesn’t miss,” according to a police affidavit. Authorities believe Frein had been planning a confrontation with police for years, citing information they found on a computer used by him.

A man and a woman believed to be Frein’s parents, reached separately by telephone on Thursday, declined to comment. The manhunt had disrupted some plans for trick-or- treating, but Halloween festivities in Barrett Township, in the heart of the search zone, were back on.

“We as a town think the kids have gone through enough,” said Ralph Megliola, chairman of the township board of supervisors. Helen Blackmore, who lives in nearby Cresco, was ready for some normalcy.

“It was very crazy here. The helicopters were out all the time. Nobody was sleeping. Even today they were out,” she said. “We’re relieved. We’re very relieved.

We want things to get back to normal.”
Frein is charged with first-degree murder and various other offenses, including two counts of possession of weapons of mass destruction filed after police discovered the pipe bombs.

Dickson, at his funeral, was called a devoted husband and father and “impeccable” ex-Marine who took his work seriously but also enjoyed making wooden toys for his young sons and finding humor in everyday situations.

Douglass was shot in the pelvis and critically injured in the ambush, which took place during a late-night shift change. He remained hospitalized until Oct. 16, when he was discharged to a rehabilitation facility, state police said.

“If you attack troopers, and a civilized society, the Pennsylvania State Police will bring you to justice. Eric Frein is a coward,” the Pennsylvania State Troopers Association said in a statement. “Cpl. Bryon K. Dickson II and Trooper Alex T. Douglass are true heroes.”

Patrick Moryto, 21, of East Stroudsburg, rushed to the Blooming Grove barracks after he heard Frein had been caught, and got there in time to see him. Frein was wearing camouflage pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt when he entered the barracks, Moryto said. Hours later, the former fugitive left in an orange prison jumpsuit.

Burkina Faso Parliament in dissaray after members tried to extend president’s stay in office

The state capital of Burkina Faso is presently in disarray as the Anti- government protesters in Burkina Faso today set their National parliament ablaze following a decision by members of parliament to review the country’s constitution to allow President Blaise Compaore extend his 27-year rule.

The parliament members were due to vote on a change on their constitution
which would allow the sitting president, Blaise Compaore – who took power in a coup in 1987 – to stand for re-election again next year, when he was due to stand down.

The angry protesters who did not buy into the proposed constitution review stormed the National Assembly building in the capital Ouagadougou, ransacking offices and setting fire to cars, before attacking the national television headquarters.

At least one person died in the mayhem.
One of the protesters said; “We did this because Blaise was trying to stay too long. We are tired of him. We want a change. He must go!”

The violence forced the government to temporarily scrap a vote on the constitutional amendments. Relative calm has since returned to the capital city.

A brave 22 year old woman identified as Ifeoma Okechukwu has been arrested after she allegedly killed an unidentified man who she claimed tried to rape her
at her Atlantic View Estate, Alpha Beach Road, Lekki Lagos Nigeria home where she lived with her uncle.

The incident took place on Monday October 27th. According to a Punch, Ifeoma, an indigene of Imo state Nigeria , it was reported that she had gone out on that day around 12.30pm to buy sanitary pads because she was on her monthly cycle, and was on her way back home when she was followed by an unknown
man.

Ifeoma tells her story;

“After buying the sanitary pads, I was going back home when I saw a man, who should be in his forties, standing at a corner. He approached me and ordered me to take him to my house. He put
his hand into his pocket as if he wanted to bring out a weapon. He said he would kill me if I shouted. When we got to the house, he said I should shut the door and I did. He said I should remove my clothes; and I started begging him, but he refused to listen. So I told him to let me get to the kitchen because I was cooking something and I would be back. I got a rod and hid it in my wrapper. I went back and moved slowly towards him, still begging, but he refused. He was taking
off his clothes and wearing a condom when I used the rod to hit him in the head. I started screaming.

And then I picked the phone and called my uncle.” Ifeoma said while narrating what happened Her uncle who she lived with said he was at work when she called him and told him what had happened. He said he immediately left the office and went to a police station to report… “I was not at home when the incident happened and her younger brother had also gone out. So, she was alone in the house and it was possible he had been monitoring her movement. When she
called me and said what had happened, I left the office and went to the police station in Jakande Estate where I reported the matter.” he said While confirming the incident, the Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu said investigations so far carried out showed the man was part of a gang who terrorized residents of the area “He was about wearing the condom when the girl hit him on the head and he died. His mission was to rape her and steal from the house. He probably took advantage of her frail stature. We have got information that he was not alone. He belonged to a gang that has been terrorizing Lekki residents for some time now. And that’s why since this incident, nobody knows his name and address, and none of his relatives have come forward to say they know him.”. He said investigations are still ongoing. Ifeoma is still in police custody pending when investigations into the matter is concluded.

Nigerian Dad sues US school after Daughter is banned over Ebola fears

A Nigerian father (pictured above) has sued a school in the US, Connecticut elementary school, saying his 7-year-old daughter was discriminated against and
banned from school for 21 days based on irrational fears of Ebola because she attended a wedding in Nigeria. Is the school this uninformed to know that Ebola no longer exist in Nigeria.

From Reuters
Stephen Opayemi filed the lawsuit in federal court in New Haven, Connecticut. He asked a judge to order the schools in Milford, Connecticut, to immediately permit his daughter to return to her
third-grade class.

Opayemi’s daughter has not experienced any symptoms associated with Ebola and her health is fine, but parents and teachers were concerned she could transmit Ebola to other children, the lawsuit says.

“We’re hoping this will get her back into school as soon as possible,” the girl’s mother, Ikeolapo Opayemi, said in a brief interview at their home.

Although the mother declined to discuss details of the lawsuit, citing the advice of the family’s attorney, she said they had lived in Milford for more than six years. Asked if she was surprised by the school system’s actions, she nodded in agreement.

Nigeria had 20 Ebola cases and eight deaths this year before the World Health Organization declared the country Ebola-free on Oct. 19. The epidemic is centered in three other West African countries, where about 5,000 people have died: Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The Connecticut third-grader, Ikeoluwa Opayemi, traveled to and from Lagos, Nigeria, between Oct. 2 and Oct. 13, according to the lawsuit. Her father,
a native of Nigeria, also went. Jonathan Berchem, the Milford city attorney, said
he had not seen the suit and could not comment on it. Elizabeth Feser, the school superintendent, did not return a call requesting comment but said in an email she had not been served with the suit.

African communities in the United States have reported an increasing amount of ostracism since the Ebola epidemic began. At least two speeches by Liberians have been canceled by U.S.
universities, and a college in Texas refused admission to Nigerian students over worries about the virus.

A neighbor of the Opayemi family, Prashant Batil, said his 6-year-old plays often with Ikeoluwa and that he believed the school system was overreacting.

“The parents are extremely responsible people, and if they say she does not have Ebola, I would have no reluctance for my daughter to play with her,” Batil said in an interview.

Opayemi’s suit was filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The law prohibits discrimination based on someone having a physical or mental
impairment, or on the belief that someone has such an impairment.

Milford officials refused the father’s offer to have both himself and his daughter screened for Ebola, the suit says. According to the suit, a city health official said in an Oct. 15 meeting that the risk of the girl infecting anyone was minor but that she ought to be quarantined because of rumors, panic and the climate of the school.

City and school officials told Ikeoluwa not to return to school until Nov. 3, the suit says. The case is Ikeoluwa Opayemi v. Milford Public Schools and City of Milford, U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, No. 3:14-cv-01597.

Mitt Romney Hating on Obama as he Delivers An Epic Rant About Obama’s ‘Terrible Administration’

When big boy Work little boys Rant, like the Famous Hip Hop rapper snoop Dogg will say

” Big dogs don’t back, small dogs do”
Captured in details was Mitt Romney ranting over Obama’s terrible administration, he was ranting like a wounded puppy saying “If you’re running for office they tell you it’s not a good idea to tell jokes alright. Because you always offend someone,” and he continued “But I’m going to tell you one about the president and I don’t care if he’s offended.”

Romney began by declaring he didn’t care about upsetting Obama.
“If you’re running for office they tell you it’s not a good idea to tell jokes alright. Because you always offend someone,” said Romney. “But I’m going to tell
you one about the president and I don’t care if he’s offended.”

Romney, who was campaigning for Nebraska GOP Senate candidate Ben Sasse, went on to make a crack about Obama not having “a clue” that he’s used in other recent appearances.

“Look, I’m not a big fan of the president’s as you may understand, but even I have been disappointed by what I’ve seen over the last six years,” Romney said.

“Because he promised some things, but hasn’t been able to deliver those things.”
Romney went on to list things he said Obama promised to address including “poverty,” “income inequality,” the education system, and the president’s infamous promise people would be allowed to keep existing health plans under Obamacare.

Afterwards, Romney swiftly moved away from domestic issues. That’s where he really got fired up, still ranting like a screaming Christmas Chicken and hating on Mr President

“It’s been a terrible administration here at home and then look internationally,” said Romney. He went on to accuse Obama of having a foreign policy that is
“very different” from all other post-war
presidents. Romney said Obama has ignored “three principles” that were first established by President Harry Truman: that American must “be involved in the
world,” that we must “promote our values,” and that we need a “military second to none.”

“He went on to shrink our military smaller, and smaller, and smaller,” Romney said of Obama. “Our navy will be smaller than that of China in seven years. Russia already has a larger nuclear arsenal than ours.”

Romney suggested the decreased size of our armed forces has contributed to international tensions. “The challenges we face are not just because of the leadership skill of the president. It’s because he’s wrong on so many issues,” said Romney.

He went on to contrast this with the Republican Party, which Romney argued is offering better solutions. Then, Romney, who is sometimes cited as a potential 2016 presidential candidate made an admission.

“A lot of times we’re not as effective in communicating our message as we should be,” Romney said. “I’m to blame for that too and I wish I would have won.”

Romney concluded by encouraging the audience to vote for Sasse and other GOP candidates this year even though it is not a presidential race. “The president said it right. I don’t always agree with the president, but he said something right yesterday and you’ve heard it before. He said ‘Look, I’m not on the ballot, but my policies are,'” said Romney. “And that’s absolutely right.”

” Mr Mitt Romney the Fire spiller, words are easily said than done, so let your actions speak louder than your voice”
