“It was a magnetic bomb,” said Interior Ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi. “It was either attached to the vehicle belonging to the foreigners or it was
planted and detonated remotely.”

17 members of the University of Nottingham hockey team stripped naked to fight homophobia in sports. The team were filmed playing hockey naked, and then talking about discrimination against gays in sports in a video released last week.
The team did the video in collaboration with Voice Your Rights Project, a student group in their school whose mission is for all people “to live in a society in which every person is respected and treated as
equals.”
VYRP said they came up with the idea for the guys to strip naked because they knew that would get them more attention.
The Nigerian Federal Government has banned the use of mobile phones in all the prison formations by the inmates and prison officials. It also directed the Nigerian Prison Service authorities to recover all handsets from inmates within 30 days.
Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who handed down the order on Saturday in Abuja, during an interactive meeting with the senior officers of the Prison Service, decried indecent dressing by the inmates.
He stated that no inmate should be allowed to wear their choice of clothes or shoes, as is the practice presently, “no matter highly placed they may be.” Moro said,
“I have visited some prisons in other countries as the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Nobody, no matter highly placed you are, you don’t come to prison with your phones, not even the minister of Interior as the supervising minister over the prisons.
So, why are you an exception?
“Henceforth, no matter who you are including myself, that nobody goes into prison with telephones. And so, as you are going from here, create a meeting platform where all the officers that work in the prisons as they walk into prisons, they submit their phones and collect them when they close.
“Secondly, it means that you have one month to recover all the phones in the custody of inmates across the prison formations. Within one month, all prison formation must recover all telephones
from inmates.”
The minister threatened to deal with the NPS management if it failed to carry out the directive, adding that he would know if the phones were not recovered from the inmates as ordered.
“Don’t forget that I will know if you fail to do this, because we have various agencies in Nigeria that are tracking telephone usages and MTN and other
service providers could make available such facilities.
The consequence of not doing this,you
should already know,” he told the senior prison officials. Commenting on the recent attack on Koton-karfe prison in Kogi State, the Minister expressed dismay over the failure of the prisons intelligence unit and the armed squad to foil the plots that led to two attacks within two years.
Moro directed the Acting Comptroller-General of Prisons, Aminu Suley, to investigate and report back to him, within two weeks, allegations that a prison officer assisted the attackers with arms.

Son : Why do we have so much stars in the sky ?
Dad : Well son, my grandfather once told me that the stars are footages of past heroes and legends who did so much while on earth, though they are all gone but their light still shines brighter and brighter

The father and son kept doing this routine over and over again each day, working out at the very early hours of the day. Each time the boy grumbles and complain about the aches he felt during their workout and about how his father wakes him up abruptly, the father will stair him up by reminding him of his own statement ” Don’t you want to become the best football player ever ?”
At the long run, the father went ahead to sign up his little boy to a local kids football team. And finally the boy grew up to become a great football player.

Islamic Shebab extremists ambushed a bus in Kenya before executing 28 non-Muslims at point- blank range in a revenge attack for police raids on mosques in the troubled city of Mombasa.
The heavily-armed gunmen ambushed the bus early yesterday as it headed for Nairobi from Mandera, a town that lies on the border with Somalia. According to AFP, the extremists reportedly separated the Muslims from the 28 victims by forcing them to read versus from the Koran. Those that failed were shot in the head at point-blank range.
The death toll – which included 19 men and nine women – was confirmed by Kenya’s Red Cross, which said it was attempting to retrieve the victims’ bodies from the scene.
Regional police chief Noah Mwavinda also told AFP. ‘I can confirm… that 28 innocent travellers were brutally executed by the Shebab. Some 60 passengers were on board the bus when it was seized by the gunmen.
Gunmen waved down the bus before spraying it with bullets when it did not stop. They then shot a rocket-propelled grenade at the vehicle, before commandeering the bus off the road .
They ordered the passengers to get off the vehicle before separating the travelers into Muslims and non-Muslims.
One of the passengers on the bus, Ahmed Mahat, told the BBC
The driver tried to accelerate away, but the vehicle became stuck in mud caused by recent heavy rains.About 10 heavily-armed men speaking Somali ordered the passengers off the bus.
“When we got down, passengers were separated according to Somali and non Somalis,”
“The non-Somalis were ordered to read some verses of the holy Koran, and those who failed to read were ordered to lie down. One by one they were shot in the head at point blank range.”
Some Somalis were shot after pleading with the gunmen to spare non-Somali passengers, Mr Mahat added.
The attack comes after a week after Security forces raided mosques in the city, saying they were being used to store weapons. The raids triggered apparent revenge attacks by Muslim youths.
Kenya has experience a series of al-Shabab attacks since it sent troops to Somalia three years ago to help fight the militant group.

A Cameroonian investigative journalist, Bisong Etahoben, is reporting via twitter the arrest of Mahamat Bichara Gnoti, a close associate of Chadian President IIdriss Déby Itno.
Mr. Gnoti was reportedly arrested on the Chadian-Sudan border with 19 SAM2 missiles he purchased from the Sudanese army meant for Boko Haram terrorist in northeastern Nigeria.
Mr. Gnoti who claimed that President Idriss Déby gave him the funds to purchase the weapons, had waved a presidential pass issued to him by Mr.
Deby’s office in order to get past border guards but was stopped and searched by the guards who found the deadly weapons on him.
There has not been an official confirmation or denial either by the Chadian or the Nigerian authorities. A text message sent to the office of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), the National Security Adviser in Nigeria regarding Gnoti’s arrest did not receive a response, an aide said Mr. Dasuki is traveling in Mexico.
However, the arrest of Mr. Gnoti, if confirmed, will provide solid evidence that the Chadian President is largely behind Boko Haram lightning insurgency in Nigeria’s northeast.
